Batcher / Front End Loader Operator

Based at our Gillman plant, this permanent, full-time opportunity offers comprehensive training in operating our automated batching systems. You'll become a skilled operator with full autonomy, heavily involved in the workings of the plant, and positioned to grow your career with one of Australia's largest construction materials companies.

What You'll Do

• Operate computerised batching plant machinery to produce concrete mix designs and dispatch to our truck fleet
• Coordinate truck movements within the site to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Manage raw materials – order, reconcile, and monitor inventory levels
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts and front-end loaders
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of plant equipment
• Collaborate with allocators, drivers, and account managers to meet delivery requirements and timelines

What You'll Need

• Enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• A level head and the ability to multi-task under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer literacy and confidence with technology
• Current driver's licence (C class)

Highly desirable:

• Forklift licence
• Front End Loader licence
