WesTrac | Auto Electrician - Field Service

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, electronic and monitoring systems on CAT machines at customer sites
• Conduct advanced fault finding, testing and quality checks using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment
• Install, calibrate and commission electrical components, harnesses, sensors and control systems to OEM standards
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment while collaborating closely with Supervisors, planners, customers and site personnel

What you’ll bring

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
• Proven rebuilds/major component overhaul/assembly experience
• CAT or comparable surface mining gear; strong diagnostics/fault‑finding
• Proactive, safety‑first mindset; unrestricted driver’s licence
