WesTrac | Auto Electrician - Field Service
What you’ll do
- Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, electronic and monitoring systems on CAT machines at customer sites
- Conduct advanced fault finding, testing and quality checks using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment
- Install, calibrate and commission electrical components, harnesses, sensors and control systems to OEM standards
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment while collaborating closely with Supervisors, planners, customers and site personnel
What you’ll bring
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
- Proven rebuilds/major component overhaul/assembly experience
- CAT or comparable surface mining gear; strong diagnostics/fault‑finding
- Proactive, safety‑first mindset; unrestricted driver’s licence
