Your New Opportunity: 

As an Automotive Electrician, you will play an important role within our Hunter Valley Service Team, undertaking repair, servicing, diagnostics and electrical fit-outs across a range of leading heavy equipment and commercial vehicles.

Based in Singleton, you’ll work with a range of industry-leading brands including Western Star, MAN and Dennis Eagle trucks, as well as Detroit and MTU engines. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your technical skills across both workshop and field service environments, while working directly with customers to deliver quality outcomes.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, with opportunities to work on challenging electrical faults, complete vehicle electrical upfits and support the wider Service Team.

About you: 

• Appropriate Automotive Electrical trade qualification
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in heavy mining equipment auto electrical work
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
• Experience working with On-hwy trucks, heavy mining equipment or engines is highly regarded
• Ability to complete electrical upfits to new vehicles
• Strong practical working knowledge of automotive electrical tools and equipment
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in mining field service activities
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
