Apprentice Shopfitter – 1st Year

Are you passionate about working with wood, building things, or creating with your hands? Xzibit is looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Shopfitter to join our team. If you’ve enjoyed woodwork at school, built projects at home, or have experience using hand and power tools, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do
Work alongside experienced tradespeople on unique, high-quality projects
Learn to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
Assist with building and installing custom displays, cabinetry, and exhibition stands for museums and events
Help prepare materials, keep the workshop organized, and support the team on-site
Travel to job sites for installations and see your work come to life
Follow safety procedures and always wear your PPE

What We’re Looking For
Genuine interest in cabinetry, woodwork, or shopfitting
Some experience using hand and/or power tools (school, home, or previous work)
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Physically fit and able to handle materials and tools
White Card (or willing to obtain)
Driver’s license or reliable transport
