The business is currently seeking a full-time Apprentice Roof Carpenter to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in carpentry and gain hands-on experience while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.
KEY DUTIES
- Cutting and installing timber to construct roof structures
- Subfloor work and stud wall construction
- Installation of various cladding styles
- Decking and renovation tasks
- General site clean-up and support
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Kingas Carpentry is open to applicants of all skill levels, including those new to the trade. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine interest in carpentry and construction
- Be willing to learn and take pride in their work
- Work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Tax File Number
- White Card
- Driver’s Licence (preferred but not essential)
