About the Role

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the guidance of qualified carpenters and supervisors to support the construction and assembly of modular homes while completing your Certificate III in Carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the assembly and installation of timber framing, wall panels, floors, and roof structures
  • Support internal carpentry tasks including installing doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and finishing components
  • Measure, cut, and prepare timber and building materials
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely under supervision
  • Assist in general workshop and site preparation, including materials handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow all workplace health & safety requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the carpentry and production teams
  • Complete all apprenticeship training requirements and progress through designated coursework
  • Develop strong trade skills through hands on, practical learning

Essential Requirements
  • Current Construction Induction White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence or reliable transport
  • Eligibility to enrol in a Certificate III in Carpentry
