Fire and Safety Australia are seeking an experienced mine site Paramedic eager to utilise their skills in the Surat Basin Region of Queensland.

We are seeking dedicated and skilled APHRA Registered Paramedic’s with mine site experience to join our team.

We have Permanent, Max Term and Casual positions available on a 7:7 roster starting immediately – Excellent remuneration – FIFO from Brisbane.

Successful candidate’s will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of medical response/training and care within our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency medical care and treatment to injured or ill employees on-site.
  • Conduct regular health assessments and monitor the wellbeing of staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Assisting with return to work processes
  • Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Paramedic Science or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Standard 11
  • Coal board medical or willing to obtain
  • Certificate III in Emergency response – highly desired
