What’s on offer?
We are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator / Accounts Payable Officer to join our Eastern Region Infrastructure Services Finance Team. Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will assist with project financial administration duties including processing site and delivery dockets, purchase orders and supplier invoices while ensuring records are maintained to meet requirements. This role is vital for our business where you'll also be responsible for:
- Process site and delivery dockets, purchase orders, supplier invoices and subcontractor claims in line with company procedures and approval levels
- Coordinate weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring payments are made on time and in line with the relevant Payments Act
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cost accruals, monthly ledgers, ageing reports and bank reconciliations, plus duplication payment checks and other financial reporting
- Set up new subcontractors in JDE and ensure all records meet organisational and statutory requirements
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strict confidentiality
