What’s on offer?

We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Foreperson to join our team supporting operations at Sydney Airport. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise keeps our fleet and plant running safely, efficiently and ready to perform. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations moving, while building strong relationships across the business:

  • Maintain, repair and service a wide range of heavy vehicles and plant
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the workshop and ensure a high standard of work
  • Complete pink slips and support roadworthy compliance
  • Order parts and manage stock control
  • Maintain equipment including trucks, loaders, backhoes, tractors and small plant
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and airport stakeholders
  • Lead by example on safety and maintain a clean, organised workshop
  • Be available for on-call support, including emergency repairs and response

How will you connect to the role?

You’re a capable trades professional who enjoys leading from the front and working with people:

  • Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Certificate)
  • Strong experience with heavy vehicles and plant
  • Ability to complete pink slips (or willingness to obtain)
  • HR Licence and Forklift Licence
  • ASIC and Cat 2 clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Senior First Aid (desirable)
  • A practical, team-first mindset with strong relationship skills
