About the role
We have a two years fixed-term opportunity for a Welding Advisor to help deliver and protect critical water infrastructure. As an Advisor in this role, you'll provide technical guidance, inspections, and quality assurance across major projects, influencing standards, supporting contractors, and ensuring assets are built to the highest levels of safety, quality and compliance. This role will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Team Leader Mechanical & Welding Assurance
What the role will involve
About you
You hold recognised welding certifications with substantial experience in welding inspection, supervision and fabrication, ideally within the water, utilities or heavy industrial sectors. You have proven expertise in welding procedures, quality assurance, contractor management and Australian Standards relating to pressure piping and structural welding. You demonstrate communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills, together with a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
