What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated, highly capable and hands on Team Leader to support our fully automated warehouse at Huntingwood. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role is responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of up to 6 Storepeople to deliver operational excellence across all warehouse and distribution activities, including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management, and quality control. This is a permanent day shift position, operating Monday to Friday (7:00am start). Key Areas:

• Actively participating in and adhering to all safety standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements at all times.
• Providing strong leadership and clear direction to ensure team KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
• Managing people-related matters, including attendance, performance, and engagement.
• Supporting quality requirements through the accurate inspection and recording of all inbound freight movements into the Distribution Centre.
• Planning and managing staff rosters and workloads to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Liaising with transport providers and the broader warehouse team to ensure an efficient and accurate inbound process.

Are you the one?

We are looking for a self motivated individual who is highly focused on safety and driving results. You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar role with in warehousing or logistics
• Proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage a team
• Extensive computer skills – Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
• Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
• Exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels
• Understanding of SAP systems
• Current LF Lic (High Reach exp preferred)
