Stirlings is seeking an Operations Supervisor to help our NSW team!

Stirlings, established in 1973, is a privately owned stockholding & processing distributor of Stainless & Performance Steel products. Simply, we import materials, stock them, process them into different forms, and sell them to our customers around Australia and internationally. We are looking for a Full-Time Operations Supervisor – Receivals for our Queensland branch. The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Requires LF & LO License
  • Intermediate logistical skills
  • Intermediate IT skills – Computer literacy
  • Displayed level of prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Intermediate level of training data base skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Warehousing procedures and functions
  • Intermediate knowledge of racking systems & storage stillages
  • Intermediate knowledge of Stainless Steel Products.

Reporting to the Commercial and Operations Manager – NSW/ACT is the responsibility of the Operations Supervisor.

Supervise and support daily warehouse operations.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse upkeep.
  • Communicate with customers on safe pickup procedures and liaise with freight providers.
  • Provide backup support for documentation control and logistics functions.
  • Deliver ongoing OH&S training and lead by example in workplace safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes and staff development
