Warehouse Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)

Job Purpose

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse operators, and ensure inventory accuracy, safety compliance and service reliability within a regulated environment. You’ll play a key role in driving operational discipline, continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and supervise warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets
• Oversee inbound, outbound, cross‑dock, storage, picking and packing activities
• Promote a strong safety‑first culture and ensure WHS, quality and legislative compliance
• Ensure staff are trained, competent and performance‑managed in line with company processes
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes
• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Ensure compliance with bonded site and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and customers to meet service expectations
• Act as an escalation point for customer issues and support new customer onboarding
• Drive continuous improvement, cost efficiencies and process optimisation initiatives

About You

You’re a hands‑on leader with strong operational knowledge, a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to manage people and priorities in a high‑volume warehouse environment.

You will bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing or logistics
• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience working in bonded or regulated sites
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and WHS requirements
• Proven people leadership, coaching and performance management skills
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving abilities
• High attention to detail and a customer‑focused approach
