Warehouse Storeperson

Most warehouses call this role a Storeperson. We call it the reason the whole floor works.

Think F1 pit crew. The trucks don’t sit idle on your watch, they arrive, they get unloaded, they get reloaded, and they leave. On time, and no fuss.

The pick team needs product in the right location. The pack team needs the right quantities ready. The orders need to be at the dock before the driver’s finished their pre-trip. None of that happens without a Storeperson who knows exactly what they’re doing.

Pull you out of the operation, and everyone feels it within the hour. That’s not a support role. That’s the engine room.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

• Operating a counterbalance forklift in a temperature-controlled warehouse — cold store and freezer zones included. This is not a warm-shed forklift job.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock to pick locations, managing pallet flow so the whole floor keeps moving.
• Completing pre-use equipment checks before every shift — no shortcuts, no exceptions.
• Working safely alongside pedestrian team members — clearance distances and speed limits are non-negotiable.
• Identifying and reporting hazards and near misses before something happens, not after.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised, and compliant with CHILL safety standards.
• Supporting the pick-and-pack team with accurate, timely stock movement — because their output is only as good as your input.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• LF (forklift) licence — this is non-negotiable
• High reach licence — desirable, but LF is your entry point
• Experience in a temperature-controlled or cold chain warehouse — desirable
• Available from 7am, with flexibility for earlier starts when the operation needs it
• The kind of person who notices what needs doing before someone asks
• Right to work in Australia
• Physically fit and alert — this is an active, demanding role
• A team-player mindset — you're operating in a shared space, and your decisions affect everyone around you

• Full-Time Hours, Casual Flex – Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts between 7AM to 5PM
