We're seeking a skilled and experienced Truck / Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of our specialised concrete pumping fleet. ​ Based at our Acacia Ridge equipment storage yard (when on-site), you'll be servicing SEQ & NSW projects.

The role

This is a critical, hands-on role based primarily at our depot, with some requirement for on-site support across our projects.

• Diagnos​e, repair​ & ​undertake preventative maintenance & prep for concrete pumps, placing booms, tower sections & accessories, incl​uding mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
• Plan ​& execute scheduled services, inspections & statutory certifications; maintain compliant maintenance records & asset historie​s
• Troubleshoot & coordinate rapid response for on-site breakdowns, minimising downtim​e
• Manage parts inventory, procurement & rebuilds (boom sections, pumps, valves, wear parts); control costs ​& warranty claims
• Collaborate with operations to schedule equipment, pre-pour readiness checks & commissioning/decommissioning of placing booms

What ​are we looking for

• Mechanical Trade qualificatio​n
• Experience with Hydraulic ​system​s
• ​Forklift
• ​Wiling to work at heights
• Safety minded, calm under pressure & able to perform safely in urgent situations
• Positive person who enjoys being part of a high-performing team

​Preferred but not essential​

• ​Electrical qualification
  
• Experience with Concrete Pumps
• Major mechanical component refurbishmen​t
• Experience with High ​& Low Voltage electrical systems
• High Risk Licences​, eg Placing Boom​, Basic Rigger​, Slewing Crane
