About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused and professional Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers and equipment between customer sites, suppliers and other operational locations.

The successful candidate will hold a current MC licence and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism and vehicle care. Limited yard duties and trailer movements within the workshop environment will also form part of the role.

This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and colleagues, and understands the importance of representing the business professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport trailers and equipment between sites and customers
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections 
  • Complete required paperwork, delivery documentation and records accurately
  • Assist with trailer movements and limited yard duties as required
  • Support workshop operations where needed to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Load, unload and secure equipment safely and correctly
  • Comply with all road transport laws, fatigue management requirements and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and professional presentation of company vehicles and equipment
  • Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers
  • Report defects, incidents, hazards or safety concerns immediately

Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Current MC (Multi Combination) Licence
  • Strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety and compliance requirements
  • Good driving history and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual and safety focused
Preferred
  • Forklift Licence
  • Experience within transport, trailer or heavy vehicle industries
  • Yard or workshop operational experience
  • Basic mechanical awareness
