What’s on offer?

Our Infrastructure Services business is seeking to appoint a Trainee Soils/Quarry Laboratory Technician to join the team at Fulton Hogan Northern Queensland based at our Gladstone site.

This position will require travel including work away from home.

In this position you will:

• Complete a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
• Sample and test aggregates and soils including onsite sampling.
• Assist with reporting, record keeping and calibrations including reporting non-conforming products.
• Conduct procedures safely and maintain good housekeeping of laboratory and surrounds.
• Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA requirements.
• Hold a valid Driver’s Licence as travel will be required including away work based on the needs of the business.
