Pearl Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading commercial and residential roofing contractor delivering high-quality roofing solutions across Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are currently seeking 12 -15 experienced Roofers, including 3 Leading Hands, to join the team immediately. These roles will see you working on a variety of residential and commercial roofing projects throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Pay Rates

• Non-Trade Qualified Roofers: $38.00 - $42.00/hr + Penalties + Super
• Trade Qualified Roofers: $45.00 - $50.00/hr + Penalties + Super
• Leading Hands: $54.00/hr + Penalties + Super

About the Role

Working within crews of four, you will be involved in the installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of commercial and residential roofing systems across a variety of projects throughout South East Queensland.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Installing and replacing metal roofing and cladding systems.
• Roof maintenance, repairs and leak rectification.
• Flashing, gutter and downpipe installation.
• Working safely at heights using approved fall protection systems.
• Reading plans and completing work to a high standard.
• Manual handling and physically demanding outdoor work.
• Travelling between project sites throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
• Leading Hands will supervise roofing crews, coordinate daily activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to program.

What We're Looking For Regarding Roofers:

• Trade qualification or a minimum of 2-3 years' commercial or residential roofing experience.
• Current drivers license
• Current Construction White Card.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in outdoor environments.
• Reliable with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Flexible to travel between project locations throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Leading Hands - In addition to the above:

• Previous experience leading roofing crews on commercial or residential projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate daily site activities and maintain high safety standards.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Highly Regarded

• EWP Licence (required for at least 1-2 people within each crew).
• Forklift, Telehandler, Boom Lift or other plant operating tickets.
