Hydrilla is a leader in the Commercial Pool and Aquatics Industry, working on some of the most iconic pools and aquatic projects Australia wide. Our work varies from Design and Construction, Major Renovations, Repairs and Servicing for pools and water treatment systems in public and commercial spaces.
To support our team and the growth within our service division, we have a permanent full time role for a Swimming Pool and Aquatic Service Technician to support our clients with regular and preventative maintenance. While we build, design and renovate aquatic facilities Australia wide, this role is based in South Australia.
Not only do our Service Technicians provide commercial pool and aquatics servicing and maintenance, they are also problem solvers and offer high level customer service to our long standing clients.
Duties will include but not be limited to:

Customer Service: Offer a high level of customer service and support, and build long term positive relationships with our customers

Diagnostic: Diagnose errors and technical problems, and develop solutions

Installation: Assist in the install, repair, and upgrade of existing water treatment systems including control systems, commissioning, and water balance

Monitor: Visually inspect pool accessories (blankets, starting blocks, ladders etc) as part of preventative maintenance

Reporting: Prepare and provide detailed, timely reports for customers

Safety Compliance: Support the Service Manager / Assistance Service Manager to oversee site works, ensuring compliance to WHS & Quality systems,

Servicing: Providing expert routine and scheduled services for our customers year-round

Support: Assistant construction team with project work when required
The successful candidate will possess:
Essential:

Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (we are unable to sponsor overseas applications or support working visas with restrictions currently)
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Self-driven and proven ability to work alone
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Mobile Apps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An Australian driver’s license
- Have or can obtain a Working With Children clearance,
- Have or can obtain a National Police clearance,
- Are or can be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (this is due to some of the facilities we manage).
Desirable:
- Qualifications and/or experience in field servicing and preventative maintenance
- Experience in water monitoring, balancing and dosing
- Licensed to drive a manual vehicle
