Structural Engineer - Yatala

About the role

As a Structural Engineer at Studco Building Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with our customers, sales managers, and technical teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Provide technical support and consultations to customers, guiding them through the selection and application of Studco's products
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project requirements and develop tailored engineering solutions
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and proposals to meet customer needs
• Conduct site visits and on-site assessments to ensure the successful implementation of Studco's products
• Liaise with internal teams, including production and logistics, to coordinate the delivery and installation of Studco's solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide innovative and compliant engineering advice
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Studco's engineering processes and standards

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Experience in a similar project engineering or sales engineering role, preferably within the construction or building materials industry
• Strong technical expertise and understanding of construction products, systems, and building codes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor technical information for various stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions
• Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset
