About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson / Truck Driver to join our established Murray Bridge team in a full-time capacity.

This is a diverse and hands-on role that combines warehouse operations, transport and logistics, customer service, and sales support responsibilities. Due to the seasonal nature of our industry, the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting multiple areas of the business to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency are maintained throughout peak periods.

Working as part of a close-knit and supportive team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the branch through warehouse coordination, deliveries, stock management and customer interaction.

The role is available for an immediate start.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience working within a warehouse, transport or logistics environment
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance and safe manual handling practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously when required
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A willingness to learn and support multiple functions across the branch
• A customer-focused mindset with a professional approach
• A current Driver’s Licence
  
• Physical capability to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kg
  

Ideally, you will also possess:

• A current Forklift Licence (LF)
• A current HR or HC Truck Licence
• Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to learn systems associated with stock receivals, inventory transfers and sales order fulfilment

Experience within the agricultural, rural merchandise, warehousing or dangerous goods industries will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will assist with a broad range of operational duties, including:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks and transport vehicles safely
• Delivering stock to customers throughout the region
• Assisting with warehouse organisation, stocktakes and inventory control
• Scanning and processing delivery and receival paperwork
• Supporting sales and customer enquiries where required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Supporting compliance with workplace health, safety and Agsafe requirements
• Assisting with other operational duties as directed by management
