About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Scheduler to support the delivery of major LNG shutdowns and turnaround campaigns.

This is a critical scheduling role suited to a planning professional who thrives in structured, high-pressure environments and can develop, manage and optimise shutdown schedules across all phases. You will play a key role in coordinating stakeholders, identifying critical path activities and ensuring shutdown delivery aligns to safety, cost and schedule targets.

The role is based in Adelaide CBD, with hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed shutdown and turnaround schedules across planning, execution and close-out phases
• Prepare shutdown schedules for operational planning and alignment
• Coordinate scheduling activities to ensure all work scope is identified, sequenced and aligned to critical path
• Support turnaround planning, execution scheduling and close-out activities across LNG operations
• Provide input into shutdown timing in collaboration with production, supply chain and upstream stakeholders
• Monitor schedule performance and progress, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies
• Ensure shutdown activities are delivered in line with safety, environmental and statutory requirements
• Support coordination of stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment across all execution phases
• Assist with reporting, schedule updates and performance tracking throughout shutdown campaigns

About you

• Trade or engineering background or strong experience in shutdown scheduling
• Proven experience as a Shutdown Scheduler within LNG, oil & gas or heavy industry environments
• Strong understanding of turnaround planning, scheduling and critical path management
• Experience developing long-term shutdown schedules and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in scheduling tools and CMMS systems
• Ability to work across planning, execution and close-out phases of shutdowns
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
