Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Power is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Services Electrician to join our team based at our Mackay Workshop.

This enhanced position is ideal for an experienced underground mining electrical professional who brings:

• Extensive mine site experience
• Strong project coordination or project management capability
• The ability to lead, mentor and support site-based teams

You will coordinate underground coal electrical site services across multiple client locations while providing senior technical leadership to our electrical service technicians.

As the Senior Site Services Electrician, you will oversee and coordinate electrical trade activities across a range of underground coal sites, ensuring service delivery is safe, compliant, and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating electrical trade activities across underground coal operations
• Planning labour, equipment, materials and daily/weekly work schedules
• Supporting project delivery through work planning, progress tracking and stakeholder coordination
• Working closely with internal teams including engineering and project management
• Building positive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants
• Maintaining compliance with WHS, environmental and Coal Mining Health & Safety legislation
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting electrical site service teams
• Providing senior-level technical support to site technicians

You will also be required to:

• Travel to client sites to conduct underground inspections and equipment assessments
• Provide leave coverage for team members when needed
• Assist with electrical inspections, testing and equipment modifications across multiple sites

We are looking for a capable, safety-focused professional with strong technical and leadership capability in the underground coal environment. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy autonomy, take initiative and can manage multiple work fronts effectively.

You will bring:

• Electrical Fitter Mechanic trade qualification
• S123 and G2 Supervisor qualifications
• Previous underground coal site services experience
• At least two years in a supervisory, senior trades, or coordination role underground
• Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating project-based work
• Strong technical electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
• Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and mentor others
