What’s on offer?

We are looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services Team based in Rydalmere. In this role, you will lead the delivery of TCS/ITS projects, working closely with our ITS subcontractor Yunex Traffic and TfNSW, the client, to ensure all technical, safety, cost, quality, and program requirements are achieved. You will oversee the program, lead development of project proposals, manage project financials, client and subcontractor interfaces, and provide clear reporting on the performance and progress.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead and coordinate supervisors, site engineers and subcontractors across multiple work fronts and disciplines.
  • Manage budgets and cost forecasts, including cost-to-complete, variations, EOTs, and subcontractor payment claims.
  • Program and coordinate works to ensure delivery aligns with time, cost and project expectations.
  • Provide guidance on stakeholder engagement, including community, council and service authorities.
  • Identify design and constructability issues and support practical, efficient solutions for delivery teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of a pipeline of TCS/ITS projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Review ITS/TCS designs and coordinate with client teams to ensure smooth handover, documentation compliance and operational readiness.

What You'll Bring

You’ll have experience in project delivery across mid to large-scale civil projects including ITS, pavements and asphalt. A relevant tertiary qualification and your strong communication skills, as well as the ability to both prioritise and problem solve, while managing stakeholder interests will set you up for success in this role.

You will have the opportunity work on a diverse project that will require both office-based planning and on-site delivery including nightworks.
