About the Role

We’re recruiting a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our AG Warehouse team in Melbourne. This is a senior, execution‑focused role responsible for the end‑to‑end coordination and delivery of grain and feed logistics across multiple regions, supporting both customer outcomes and trading performance.

Reporting to the Grain Trading Manager, this role operates in a highly time‑sensitive and operationally complex environment, with peak demand during harvest and seasonal supply periods. It is a hands‑on role, requiring strong judgement, practical problem‑solving and close collaboration with Trading, Sales, Finance, carriers and end‑customers. The Senior Logistics Analyst acts as a key point of coordination across the supply chain and plays an important role in lifting logistics processes, compliance and data quality.

This role suits an experienced logistics or supply chain professional with exposure to bulk commodities, who is comfortable operating under pressure, influencing stakeholders without authority, and stepping up as a senior individual contributor within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate grain and feed deliveries across Victoria, Tasmania, NSW and SA, managing scheduling, allocation and peak‑season exceptions
• Allocate inventory and contracted stock positions to customers in the most operationally and commercially effective manner
• Partner closely with Trading, Sales and Finance to support contract execution, customer service and trading outcomes
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers and customers to manage delivery schedules, constraints and competing priorities
• Monitor stock movements and reconcile variances, ensuring strong data accuracy, COR compliance and system discipline
• Provide senior support to the Grain Trading Manager, driving process improvements and supporting team capability uplift

About You

• Experience in logistics, supply chain or commodity execution roles, ideally within grain, feed or bulk commodities

• Strong understanding of bulk freight movements, geographical supply constraints and time‑critical execution

• Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, seasonal environments with competing priorities

• Proven ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders, including Trading, Operations, carriers and end customers

• Practical problem‑solver with sound judgement, attention to detail and strong systems capability (ERP / logistics systems)

• Confident operating autonomously as a senior team member, with experience in inventory management, contract execution and COR / freight compliance highly regarded
