Fulton Hogan delivers the TMR North Coast Region Road Asset Maintenance Contract which includes both Programmed and Routine Maintenance works. Central to the success of this contract is proactive, consistent and credible engagement with communities, road users and stakeholders impacted by maintenance and construction activities.
This role offers the opportunity to play a hands‑on part in shaping how communities experience our work, ensuring people are informed, concerns are addressed early and impacts are managed effectively through clear, timely communication.
Our Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Senior Community & Stakeholder Advisor to support the day-to-day delivery of communication activities to support our Programmed and Routine Maintenance delivery teams across the North Coast Region.
You’ll be embedded in the contract delivery environment, working across multiple work programs anticipate potential impacts, support community notification requirements and respond to emerging issues as works progress.
This is a fast paced, operational role that requires agility, sound judgement, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a live construction and maintenance environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for working collaboratively with the project team and our client to plan and implement communication and engagement activities across programmed and routine maintenance works.

With relevant communications qualifications and practical experience in a similar role, you’ll bring demonstrated experience in community and stakeholder engagement, ideally within maintenance or transport infrastructure environments.
You’ll be a strong communicator with a sound understanding of contract delivery and an ability to recognise how effective communication supports broader contractual and operational outcomes. You’ll have a proven ability to build productive internal and external relationships and work collaboratively within a complex, fast-paced environment. With professional judgement, attention to detail and confidence in your written and verbal communication, you’ll be comfortable influencing outcomes and managing competing priorities.
