Due to our growing pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 5+ years to join our thriving Brisbane Team. Variety is key to this career developing opportunity, working on the civil components of Renewables, Waste Recycling, Residential Developments and Mining projects. In this role you also support and collaborate with other Technical Disciplines, including (but not limited to) Geotechnics, Transport Advisory, Planning and Approvals, Hydrology & Hydrogeology and Environmental Specialist Services, servicing national and international projects.

Responsibilities
This role offers excellent long-term rewards and opportunities for learning, expanding technical knowledge and career advancement, including: 

• Working on a wide range of projects, across the Infrastructure, Built Environment Sectors, Manufacturing & Industry, Mining and Resources and Power & Energy Sectors.
• Undertaking a rage of technical tasks, including:
  • Lead Civil Design and Documentation
  • Program and Schedule Development
  • Tender Management
  • Contract Administration and Site Supervision
• Challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement.
• Developing your career while achieving excellent outcomes for our clients, developing independent internal and external relationships and contributing to/ managing exciting projects. 
• Assisting and mentoring junior consultants in the business. 

Experience
Outside wanting to join a positive and friendly team, the right candidate should have:

• 5+ years’ experience with tertiary qualifications in civil engineering. 
• Experience in the management and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Competency in civil design, including the development of design solutions for earthworks, roadworks and drainage and, water and sewer infrastructure. 
• Competency in the design of civil structures is highly desirable.
• RPEQ accreditation is highly desirable but not necessary for those with more junior years’ experience. Those working towards RPEQ will be fully sported by managers.
• CPESC accreditation is also highly desirable, but not necessary.
• Must have an excellent attitude and be capable of working within a dynamic environment.
• Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation for continuous improvement and professional development.
