Role purpose 

Aesop are seeking an experienced S&OP Master Scheduler in a full-time role operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, S&OP, you will be responsible for leading and owning the end-to-end monthly Master Scheduling process for the procurement of all S&OP team distributed SKUs from OMA/Emeis.

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

Strategic Planning Leadership & Governance

  • Leverage planning tools (SAP, X3, MPS) to drive strategic supply decisions, guaranteeing product availability and optimising stock levels and service performance.

  • Own and govern the total monthly supply plan, ensuring it is complete, accurate, and reflective of all commercial priorities and strategic initiatives.

  • Calculate monthly requirements for ~500 SKUs (FG and PLV1) to ensure optimal stock coverage, high service levels, and minimal obsolete stock.

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly plan review, presenting a consolidated and analytically robust submission while clearly articulating assumptions, risks, and changes.

  • Act as the escalation point for plan integrity, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies before senior stakeholder review.

Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication

  • Lead structured planning reviews, proactively communicating the impact of supply changes and risk scenarios with recommended courses of action.

  • Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure plans are complete and ready for transmission in line with the S&OP calendar.

Commercial & Procurement Management

  • Calculate, raise, and maintain monthly Purchase Orders to procure stock required for IDC-to-market distribution.

  • Support the preparation of the stock equation for budget and trend cycles, providing senior-level insight into stock coverage and risk.

Systems, Data Integrity & Continuous Improvement

  • Own planning system parameters, partnering with the Master Data team to ensure data accuracy.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, conduct root cause investigations, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and contribute to supply chain projects and strategic workstreams, representing the planning function at a senior level.

This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern. 

What we are looking for 

  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain (factory, subsidiaries, planning or S&OP)

  • Experience influencing and collaborating with senior business stakeholders

  • Detailed working knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and inventory management systems and principles

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders (DMI, Zone, Factories, Subsidiaries, Development, Purchasing, etc.)

  • Exceptional numerical and analytical ability, strong business acumen

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to prioritise and respond dynamically to a changing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
