Road Worker - Walkley Heights

Downer’s Maintenance & ITS business is proud to be expanding its footprint across South Australia, delivering vital road and asset maintenance and construction services across the Barossa, Riverland and South East Regions, covering approximately 5,600 km of sealed road network. It’s an exciting time to be part of a team that’s delivering these critical works across the state.    

We are currently looking for a Road Worker to support the delivery of Road Maintenance, Hazard / Emergency Response commitments across the region. This role will suit someone who enjoy working outdoors and travelling in regional SA to undertake a variety of different activities to a high standard and with a high regard for safety.  

About you 

• A strong motivation to help our community through quality maintenance practices  
• Current Medium Rigid / Heavy Rigid licence   
• Construction Induction / White Card (essential)  
• Current Traffic Control tickets (highly regarded)  
• Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant, machinery and equipment
• Availability to work night shift, emergency call outs, and weekends when required  
• Proficient with technology, including the use of tablets and smartphones
