Riggers - Ampol Lytton Turnaround

Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced Riggers for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply.

As this is a Brisbane-based role, locally based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience.

• Demonstrable strong focus and commitment to safety

• Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.

• Pipe rigging experience required
• You will have proven experience in heavy industry environments
• Previous Shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage
• Required Intermediate or Advanced ticket, working within a heavy industry environment for at least 3-5 years
• You must have in-date current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets to work on the Shutdown – validity 3 years from date of issue, not expiring before mid-August 2026
• Must be available to pass a Wood medical, after providing the required certificates, safety tickets and driver’s licence to MyPass.
