$55.76 per hour Full Time
Rolling Roster, 4 days on and 4 days off (Alternating Day Shifts (4:30am – 3:21pm) and Afternoon Shifts (1:08pm – 11:59pm))

The Opportunity
We’re seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Rides Startup and Shutdown teams at Warner Bros. Movie World.

Working behind the scenes of one of Australia’s most iconic theme parks, you’ll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for the safe, reliable operation of our world class rides and attractions.

In this role, you’ll work across routine maintenance, preventative servicing, shutdowns, rebuilds, and fault rectification on some of the most exciting mechanical equipment in the country.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll help create unforgettable guest experiences by ensuring our rides operate safely, smoothly, and
reliably every day. You’ll be responsible for:
• Maintaining, repairing, and overhauling ride equipment to the highest safety standards
• Completing pre park opening safety checks so attractions are guest ready each day
• Troubleshooting and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
• Performing preventative maintenance and planned shutdown works
• Working collaboratively with your team to keep rides running safely and efficiently
• Supporting stock control, parts handling, and deliveries
• Following all OHS procedures, safe work instructions, and lock out systems
• Completing daily work as directed by the Engineering Supervisor
• Taking pride in work that directly impacts guest safety, enjoyment, and experience
• Contributing ideas to improve safety, reliability, and ways of working

What We’re Looking For
You’re a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter who enjoys working in a unique, high energy environment and understands the importance of safety in creating great guest experiences. You’ll bring:
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent) is essential
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally in an industrial or complex equipment environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with fault finding and diagnostic capability
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Welding and fabrication skills (highly regarded)
• Forklift licence and/or EWP ticket (beneficial or willingness to obtain)
• Physical capability to climb ladders and stairs as part of your role
• Comfort working at heights of up to 60 metres
• A safety first mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while being a positive, reliable team player
• Confidence using digital maintenance or CMMS systems (desirable)
