About the Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Recruitment Specialist to join our collaborative HR Team at Crawford. You will be responsible for recruiting our next generation of talent, where you will recruit for ambition, drive and the “X-factor” that we search for in up-and-coming talent.
This will include the appointment and onboarding of new employees and running assessment centres, dealing with general enquiries and supporting hiring managers, candidates and new employees.
Whilst this is a recruitment-focused role, you will gain exposure to many facets of the HR function, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, making this role truly unique and where your role will have a positive impact on the business.
About You
Essential
Experience working within recruitment, ideally high-volume recruitment where assessment centres and high-volume recruitment campaigns were run
Trustworthy and high integrity, with a strong ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised with impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced in working with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and a recruitment ATS
Experience working within a fast-paced environment
A strong customer service focus and strong ability to prioritise tasks
High level analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
Completed tertiary education in business or human resources
Experience or knowledge in Insurance or claims related recruitment
A genuine interest in Recruitment and/or Human Resources
Key Responsibilities
Actively recruit for entry level positions across the business, including advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, psychometric testing, background checks and employing new talent into entry level roles
Support the Talent Manager with individual recruitment strategies for entry level roles
Support the Talent Manager with required administration and ad hoc requests
Provide recruitment advice, guidance and support for hiring managers as required
Run and manage assessment centres and campaigns for high volume recruitment
Process relevant paperwork during the employment offer stage including employment contracts, onboarding paperwork and completing the internal new starters processes and follow up as required to completion
Meet and greet, or contact all new starters on week 1 of employment to welcome them to the organization and assist them settle in, given these are entry level candidates
Participate in external recruitment drive campaigns with universities, colleges, AICLA/ANZIIF and attend recruitment drive industry events to attract entry level talent
Drive any Graduate Program Recruitment and Academy Program/s Recruitment, as required
