What’s on offer?
Due to growth in our Infrastructure Services business, we are currently looking for a full time Quarry Operator to join Fulton Hogan’s Tylden Quarry.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the Quarry Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks and will be a reliable and strong team player.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and working outdoors. Outstanding candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will also be strongly considered. The team primarily operates Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required. Duties also include but are not limited to:
• Operating fixed crushing, screening, and blending plants
• Operating mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant as demand requires
• Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment and plant as required
• Compliance with all Fulton Hogan Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and targets
How you will connect to the role?
• Experience with quarry crushing and screening equipment is essential
• Experience or background as a boilermaker, mechanical or electrical trades is highly desirable.
• Experience on fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile crushing plant is essential, holding current ticket/licences
• Possess the skills to undertake plant repairs and maintenance is essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude to safety that delivers a zero harm environment.
• Be available to work Saturdays
