About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team to manage our internal quality systems and audit our business to ensure compliance to all processes and procedures. The key focus of this role is to promote a quality culture throughout the company and develop a culture of continuous improvement focused on positively impacting the customer experience and financial performance of the business. This role is based in our Head Office in Alexandria, but is required to travel interstate to complete all branch internal audits, so flexibility to travel is a key requirement of the role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage our QA system and company compliance
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure internal compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide training to employees on company QA systems, policies and procedures
  • Focus on continuous improvement of existing procedures and practices
  • Drive and promote safe behaviour and culture

What we are looking for:

  • A strong technical and professional industry knowledge in either lift, construction, engineering or manufacturing industries with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an engineering, construction or business discipline
  • Experience dealing with Australian Standards and ISO accreditation
  • Previous exposure to internal audits and quality management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong partnerships across the business
  • Strong time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and strong attention to detail
