The opportunity:

This is an exciting chance for a Qualified Baker / chef to bring their skills and creativity to our remote site in Central Queensland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing daily bakery production, preparing a variety of fresh breads and implementing baked goods menus that meet our contractual requirements.

You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth coordination across the kitchen, while taking ownership of your bakery section and delivering consistently high-quality results. With variety across different outlets in the Village, every day will offer a new challenge and the opportunity to showcase your expertise.

• Competitive Annual Wage – $90,000 - $110,000 
• 5 days on, 2 days off roster

To be considered:

• Must have an Australian Trade Qualification of Certificate 3 in Baking or Certificate in Retail Baking or Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
• Proven experience as a Baker at least 2 years' Work experience in an industrial / commercial setting
• Must have with a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
• Must be able to produce breads, savoury pastries, and sweets at high volume.
• Willing to relocate to Remote Central Queensland 
• Capable of passing a full Pre-employment Medical Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Test 
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
