About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team at Bundamba. This role suits a skilled individual with broad fabrication experience, strong stainless‑steel capability, and sound understanding of hygienic design principles. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and as part of a maintenance‑focused manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Stainless steel TIG fabrication to hygienic/food‑grade standards
• General fabrication: MIG welding, cutting, folding, rolling and assembly
• Supporting maintenance teams with breakdown repairs and corrective works
• Reading and producing fabrication drawings and site sketches
• Working on beverage/food manufacturing equipment (conveyors, tanks, fillers, CIP lines)
• Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements (LOTO, hot work, confined space, safe systems of work)
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when required

Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Metal Fabrication/Welding
• Extensive TIG fabrication experience in hygienic or food‑grade settings
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem‑solving and autonomy
• Positive team‑player mindset
• Experience in workshop or industrial manufacturing environments
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
