What’s on offer?

A career-defining opportunity is now available for a passionate, committed, site engineer ready to take on the next steps in your career or an experienced Project Engineer to join our Airfield Infrastructure and Specialty Surfacing Division at Dry Creek. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, supporting our senior managers, contributing technical expertise, and upholding our REAL values to ensure safe and successful project delivery.

This role involves travel across Australia to support commercial and private airports also Defence bases. Our team oversee multiple projects of varying size and scale at any given time, typically ranging in value from $0.5m -$6m so time management and the ability to manage competing priorities is essential. Defence clearance is required for this role and as such we are only able to consider applications from Australian Citizens.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of multiple projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedure;
• Manage client, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships;
• Travel to multiple project sites throughout Australia dependent on client requirements
• Report to Senior Management on contractor performance and oversee HSEQ compliance;
• Project Management including programming/scheduling, contractual administration, procurement and technical aspects;
• Manage financials including monthly reviews, progress claims, cost valuations, budgets and forecasting;
• Undertake risk assessments and auditing site operations to ensure procedures and processes are adhered to.

How you will connect to the role:

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer delivering Civil projects for an established contracting company.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil);
• Willingness to undertake shift work (day/afternoon/night)
• An understanding that this role will require frequent travel throughout Australia for extended periods
• Strong financial and contractual acumen;
• A dedicated passion and desire to strive for progression beyond this role in the mid to long term
