Job Description

We’re seeking a Project Administrator to join our team in a fixed-term position through to December 2026, based on-site in Cambridge. You’ll be someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, has a solid grasp of the fundamentals, and is ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive team environment.

You’ll play a key role in helping us deliver great outcomes for our customers and communities by supporting our busy project teams with accurate financial administration and dependable project support services.


In addition to the above you will:

  • Support the team with purchase order entry, receipting of orders, and purchasing-related enquiries and reconciliations

  • Respond to queries from suppliers, subcontractors, and team members regarding payments and reconciliations, and support general admin duties as needed.

  • Accurately input data for contract databases, job costing, and financial claims

  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems

  • Process timesheets for external labour hire

  • Receipt deliveries and handle associated paperwork

  • Manage a variety of general administration tasks as required

  • Professionally handle telephone calls and enquiries

  • Deliver the highest standard of safety and quality in everything you do

  • Drafting reports & project documentation

  • Support overall project objectives as needed

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Ideally 2+ years’ administration experience (project or construction environment advantageous)

  • Strong organisational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a knack for following process

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated teamwork and a willingness to learn new skills

  • An analytical, solutions-focused mindset, with a “get it done” attitude

  • An understanding of contract claim processes and associated data requirements

  • Self-motivation and confidence working both autonomously and as part of a busy project team
