About the role 

  

Provide strategic procurement advice and lead sourcing and contract management activities to support effective, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes. You will: 

 

  • Deliver end-to-end low to medium-risk procurement activities, including sourcing, evaluations, supplier engagement, and contract establishment. 

  • Provide procurement advice and support to stakeholders on procurement planning, processes, governance, and compliance requirements. 

  • Prepare procurement documentation including plans, RFQs, EOIs, RFTs, evaluation reports, recommendations, and approval papers. 

  • Maintain procurement and contract management systems, ensuring requests, contracts, variations, extensions, and records are accurately managed. 

  • Support procurement reporting, governance, and compliance, including dashboards, contract disclosures, GIPA requirements, and contract administration activities. 

  • Provide operational support to the Procurement team, coordinating meetings, supplier communications, evaluations, record keeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field 

  • Strong written communication skills with experience preparing reports, procurement documentation, and stakeholder communications. 

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 

  • High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, registers, and reporting data. 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective working relationships. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, analysis, and presentations. 

  • Experience using procurement, finance, or contract management systems and applying policies and procedures to support compliant procurement outcomes. 

 

About the NSW Reconstruction Authority 

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. 

  

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
