The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted working relationships, contributing to successful project outcomes, and bringing structure and clarity to complex procurement processes. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and work closely with commercial, finance and project teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities
•    Source and engage suppliers to deliver quality materials at the right value and time
•    Support project and contract delivery through tender involvement, procurement planning and execution
•    Ensure procurement activities are compliant with UGL Transport policies and aligned with best practice
•    Assist with drafting and managing key subcontracts, including reviewing supplier quotations
•    Maintain accurate and well organised procurement records to support smooth project handovers
•    Act as a central liaison between suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams
•    Collaborate with leaders to help shape effective and sustainable procurement frameworks

About you

•    Completion of Year 12 (tertiary qualifications preferred)
•    Around 5 years’ experience in procurement within transport, energy or a capital-intensive industry
•    Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities
•    A practical, organised approach to processes and compliance
•    Experience managing suppliers and materials
•    Knowledge of warranty systems and processes (desirable but not essential)
