Principal Procurement Officer – Compliance and Reporting

 

  • Parramatta / Hybrid Working
  • Ongoing Full-Time
  • Clerk Grade 11/12 - $154,231 to $178,369 plus superannuation and leave loading

 

 

Your role

 

Join Homes NSW and play a key role in strengthening procurement governance, compliance, and reporting across a large and complex organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead procurement policy development, compliance programs, reporting activities and capability-building initiatives that support transparent, accountable and effective procurement practices. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with NSW Government procurement requirements. 

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of the Homes NSW Procurement team, you will lead procurement compliance and reporting activities to support best practice procurement outcomes across the organisation.

 

You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies, frameworks, guidelines and templates.
  • Manage procurement compliance, risk management, audit programs, complaints and non-compliance registers.
  • Coordinate governance activities and provide secretariat support for the Procurement Governance Committee.
  • Deliver procurement reporting and analyse procurement data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and implementation on NSW Government procurement policies and board directions, processes and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and deliver procurement training programs to build capability across Homes NSW.
  • Lead procurement projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and develop team members while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability and customer service.

 

You'll join a collaborative and high-performing team that values innovation, professionalism and continuous improvement while supporting critical housing outcomes for communities across NSW.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Demonstrated experience delivering procurement compliance, reporting, governance or risk management programs within a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the NSW Government Procurement Framework and  procurement practices.
  • Experience analysing data, preparing reports and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
