About the Opportunity

We are seeking qualified Pipe Fitters to join our Henderson team in a permanent full‑time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available). In this role, you will undertake pipe fitting, assembly, installation of marine components and pressure testing, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

To be considered, you must hold a White Card and a Certificate III in Pipe Fitting or Boiler Making.

What’s Involved

  • Perform pipe fitting duties, including fit-up and pipe assembly.
  • Assemble and install marine components, such as valves and other equipment, into ship systems.
  • Conduct pressure testing on ship piping systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment, with a focus on minimising waste in all forms.

 

You’ll Need

  • Hold a Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
  • Trade qualification: Certificate III in Pipe Fitting or Boiler Making.
  • Proficient in the use of standard trade tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work safely and to a high standard.
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets are advantageous.
  • Forklift and Dogman/Rigger licences are desirable.
