What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced People & Culture Advisor within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in SA. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further by leveraging your relevant industry experience, with excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify and implement people strategies that have a meaningful impact on employee performance, engagement and effectiveness
Assist in the review, development and implementation of People & Culture policies and procedures in line with business objectives, legislative requirements and contemporary HR practices
Provide advice on everything from employee relations, award/enterprise agreement interpretation, organisational effectiveness, talent retention, succession planning, remuneration reviews and performance appraisals
Work closely with People and Culture and recruitment professionals to share information so there is a consistency of approach and best practice in people management practices across the Fulton Hogan Utilities business
Providing support across a range of activities including recruitment, training, employment contracts, change of circumstances, payroll liaison, timesheets, employee communication and off boarding
Deliver best practice advice and guidance on a range of generalist HR matters.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualification in the Human Resources/related discipline
Previous experience guiding, supporting, coaching and developing leaders and employees in HR matters, ideally in a construction site based environment
Knowledge and understanding of relevant HR/industrial relations legislation
A passion for driving continuous improvement on HR systems/practices
Experience building partnerships within the business to ensure a collaborative approach with all stakeholders
Ability to identify key issues & problems and pick the best choice among alternatives
