NT Operations Manager - Pavements - Australia

ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Pavements to join a leading civil contractor in Darwin, Northern Territory. This role involves managing four business units with a total turnover of $60 million and will make a big impact.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all four pavement business units.
• Mentor and support direct reports to lift leadership capability and team performance.
• Oversee safe, timely, and high-quality service delivery across diverse operational teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and accountability across the business.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in senior operations or management roles within civil or pavement works.
• Proven leadership with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Strong financial skills: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Effective multitasker in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
• Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management.
