What's on offer?

We’re looking for an experienced Micro-surfacing Supervisor to lead our crew and deliver high‑quality pavement surfacing projects safely, on time and to specification. This role will suit someone with strong technical knowledge of micro-surfacing, proven leadership skills, and a hands‑on approach out on site.

You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day supervision of micro-surfacing operations, including crew management, planning and coordination, quality control, and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities will include

  • Supervise and coordinate micro-surfacing crews and subcontractors on site
  • Plan daily works, including materials, plant and resource allocation
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, in line with company and client HSE requirements
  • Monitor quality and productivity, ensuring work meets design specifications and contract requirements
  • Liaise with clients, inspectors and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues
  • Complete required site documentation, including pre-starts, SWMS/JSEAs, quality records and timesheets
  • Support training and development of crew members, promoting a positive team culture
  • Assist with programming and logistics to meet project deadlines and budgets

How you will connect to the role

  • Previous experience in micro-surfacing, or road surfacing
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand position in civil construction or road maintenance
  • Strong understanding of pavement surfacing processes, plant and materials
  • Solid commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a crew
  • Sound organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to adapt on site
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willingness (and ability) to work throughout Australia on a scheduled roster as per project requirements
