Mechanical Fitters - Local Jandakot Workshop

Our client is a fast-growing company, we're seeking additional Mechanical Fitters to join their manufacturing workshop in Jandakot, WA

The Role

You will be maintaining Exciters and Agitators for the mining industry. The role includes reading & utilizing micrometers, mining-related gearbox fitting, stripping, inspections, repairs, assembly and testing.

• Casual Ongoing work
• $57.68 p/hr + penalties
• Shifts will be afternoons 2:30pm-10:00pm daily  
• Overtime applied Monday - Friday after 7.6 hours per shift
• Saturday and Sundays are occasionally required (Penalty rates applicable)

Requirements

• Trades qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Automotive LV Trades (considered)
• White Card  
• Driver's License
• National Police Clearance
• Forklift (preferred) 
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Must be able to read technical drawings including Engineering & Assembly drawings.
