The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Mechanical Fitter`s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope will include routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and shutdown activities across a range of fixed plant equipment, including conveyors, rollers, chutes, liners, dust systems, and diesel-powered assets. To be successful in this role you will need to available from 21st September for inductions, picking up PPE and onboarding. Successful candidates will also join our talent pools to be used in future works across remote and regional WA.
About You
• Trade Certificate
• Construction Induction / White Card
• Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years
• Fire Certificate within 5 years
• MSIC – Highly desirable
