Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client, a popular family leisure and entertainment group near Spearwood. Your Role: 

• Carry out preventative maintenance and repair work on rides, attractions, plant, and equipment including working at heights
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in line with safety and compliance requirements
• Assist with inspections, testing, and record keeping of plant and equipment
• General workshop and site housekeeping as required

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (Cert III Fitting or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a trade-qualified role, ideally maintenance or manufacturing environments
• Proven knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and confidence working at heights
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Current WA driver’s licence + reliable transport
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test

Rosters & Hours

• Peak Season (Sept–Apr): 4-day rotating roster (4 days on / 4 days off)
• Off Season: 4 days on / 3 days off (typically Mon–Thurs)
• Usual hours: 7:00am – 4pm / 5:00pm (Please note, hours can often be slightly less in off-season while salary remains the same)
