Looking for your next opportunity? Prime Recruitment are working alongside one of Perth’s leading engineering companies support the defence, marine, oil and gas and mining sectors.

Due to increased projects kicking off, our client is looking for a team of Mechanical Fitters to work in our clients’ workshop in Henderson and at times down at local sites in Henderson.

What You'll Be Doing

• Overhauling and repairing mechanical equipment in the workshop and on site
• Monitoring work progress against project schedules and deadlines
• Measuring, calibrating and recording mechanical components and equipment
• Conducting inspections to identify defects, faults and required repairs
• Completing project documentation including work instructions, T&I plans and quality records
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with HSEQ requirements
• Working to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Supporting shutdowns, maintenance and project delivery across multiple sectors

What We're Looking For

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter
• White Card
• 5+ years post-trade experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in workshop and/or site-based mechanical works
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to obtain Defence site access and provide a clean police clearance
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• Experience with shafts, gearboxes, realignments etc
