Join our team supporting a key Santos project in the Cooper Basin on a 2:2 roster! As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on critical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence.
With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by:
• Perform mechanical maintenance on piping, valves, and equipment to specification.
• Diagnose faults, conduct repairs, and ensure machinery reliability.
• Interpret technical drawings and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to meet project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Proven experience in the oil & gas or heavy industry environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational standards.
• White Card, relevant tickets (eg. working at heights), and a team-focused approach.
